PigeonPost (the "App") is provided by the App developer ("we" or "us"). We take the protection of your personal information seriously and apply appropriate security measures to keep your information safe and under your control. Please read this policy carefully before using the App.
To provide the message-delivery service, we collect the following:
1. Device identifier (device_id): a random string generated automatically when the App is first launched. It is used solely to identify your credit balance and orders without any account system. It contains no name, phone number, ID number, or any other personal identity information.
2. Recipient account: the recipient's phone number or WeChat / Douyin / RedNote account that you voluntarily enter, used solely to deliver your specified content to that account.
3. Message content: the content you voluntarily write. All content is human-reviewed before delivery.
4. Order and transaction records: your top-up records (Apple IAP transaction IDs), usage and refund records, used for credit accounting and dispute handling.
The information above is used solely for: providing the message-delivery service, human content review, credit and order management, fraud and duplicate-credit prevention, and handling your reports and support requests. We do not sell your information or share it with any unrelated third party.
Your data is stored on security-hardened cloud servers and databases, protected by transport encryption (HTTPS) and access controls. We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service.
You may at any time contact us (see below) to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your order and balance data, or to delete your usage records. We will respond within 7 business days.
The App is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please do not use the App.
We may update this policy from time to time and will publish updates on this page. For material changes we will also provide notice within the App where appropriate.
